Three big names of U.S music industry – SZA, The Weeknd and Travis Scott join forces for the official music video of their ‘Game Of Thrones’ collaboration ‘Power is Power’. ‘Power is Power’ is a part of the GOT tie-in album ‘For the Throne’. The director of this visual treat of a music video is the renowned Anthony Mandler and the video was entirely shot in Los Angeles on sets which were inspired by the show. All three of the artists (SZA, The Weeknd and Travis Scott) were seen in the video dressed in show-inspired wardrobe and all three of them can be seen sitting on the ‘Iron Throne’ one by one in the video.
Mandler said about the video, “We’re taking established artists and pulling them into the ‘Game of Thrones’ world”. He added, “The show establishes all these different kingdoms and worlds. What I want to do is integrate the color palettes of winter, the warmer tones and match that with today’s biggest stars.”
Game of Thrones is currently in its eighth and final season and the tie-in album ‘For the Throne’ is based around this final season and Grammy-nominated producer Ricky Reed is the executive producer of this album, alongside the creators of Game of Thrones – D. B. Weiss, & David Benioff.
