The Gentlemen’s game cricket is once again getting dirty as during 2nd odi between Pakistan and England, that was a nail biting thriller, England’s fast bowler Liam Plunkett is caught tampering the ball allegedlly by the cam. Pakistani batsmen who were going to chase the record total lost the match just by 12 runs as a result of brilliant death bowling by England. But England’s bowling which was being appreciated is now under real question as it might’ve been the result of ball tampering. Cricket fans around the globe and especially Pakistani fans reacted on the footage being circulated on media demanding ICC and ECB to investigate the matter, though none of the concerned authorities have taken any action or issued any statement.
Some people have questioned on the shape of ball and seriously none of us ever seen a cricket ball in that bad shape, and in death overs the Umpires should have changed the ball as in death overs such type of ball proves to be a nightmare for the batsmen.
Well cricket fans enjoyed the effort by both of the teams, Buttler’s blistering attack on Pakistani bowlers to post a target of 375 and the Counter by Fakhar Zaman and Asif Ali, which kept the game alive till last over. But know all of this is been affected by the unethical alleged act of just one person, if that ball tampering is real then it’s a shame Liam Plunkett.
