Varun Dhawan and Parineeti Chopra defend Mahira Khan
Indian media have reported on Saturday that Varun Dhawan and Parineeti Chopra have spoken in defence of Mahira Khan after she was shamed on the social media by conservative sections for smoking.
Times Now quoted Parineeti’s response to a question at the trailer launch of Golmaal Again, “I ll just say one line. It s a little unfair. Everybody knows it s unfair and it ll stop. Today, because of social media, everything becomes too big a deal.”
Mein Tera Hero star Varun Dhawan said in a separate interview that shame on the people who are shaming Mahira. Times Now quoted, “Shame on them for shaming her.”
Earlier on September 22, Ali Zafar tweeted defending the Raees actress following her pictures with Ranbir smoking in New York City in July surfaced this month.
