Zhalay Sarhadi wants to make mark in Bollywood like Mahira, Mawra
Model and actress Zhalay Sarhadi has revealed that she was many Indian films but she rejected them due to Indo-Pak tensions and lack of strong script and role.
She was talking to media during a press meet of her upcoming movie ‘Chalay Thay Saath’ which stars Syra Shehroz, Osama Tahir, Behroze Sabzwari, Mansha Pasha, Faris Khalid, Kent S. Leung, Shamim Halai & Sherbaaz Kaleem.
She said that if she is offered any project in future she will only accept it of the role is up to her mark.
Zhalay affirmed that she is a true Pakistani and is desirous to build a status in Bollywood as Mahira Khan and Mawra Hocane did throught their powerful roles.
Her co-star Mansha Pasha said that this is her debut film and was quite a good experience.
Theatre actor and model Hamza said that this is his second movie as he had earlier did ‘Reham’.
Osama said that films give a worldwide identity to the artist.
The film’s producer Beenish Umer asserted that planning is underway to screen the movie in China.
‘Chalay Thay Saath’ is set to release on April 21in Pakistan.
