Short Film Produced As Tribute To Junaid Jamshed Banned In Several Countries
A short tribute film produced by Junoon singer Salman Ahmed for Junaid Jamshed has been banned in several countries including India, UAE, US, and Canada.
Many Indian fans of Junaid Jamshed contacted Salman Ahmed after they were unable to watch the video on Youtube.
“#Khwab has touched millions across the planet in less than 3 days of release despite being blocked on youtube,” he said in a tweet.
He said that a girl name Iruj contacted him on twitter and informed that the short film is not being searched in her city as it has been blocked.
The singer told that he then gave the girl his Facebook link.
Luckily, Salman was able to have the content unblocked in the United States.
“Just got US YouTube to unblock Khwab. Where else s it blocked?,” he tweeted as he tried to make the Youtube video accessible.
The short film directed by Imran Ahmad Khan includes clips of Junaid Jamshed from the days when his musical career was at a high which then follows his last days.
