Shoaib Mansoor Signs Up Mahira Khan For ‘Verna’
Ace director Shoaib Mansoor is back, this time with a movie placing Mahira Khan in its lead. The much-awaited film ‘Verna’ will be released on Eid-ul-Fitr next year.
“Shoaib sahab called me for this just like he had called me five years ago for Bol, wondering if I’d be interested in working with him. I was just happy to hear from him after so long. It’s a film tackling a certain social issue… [I’m] taking it up as a challenge,” Mahira told a local media outlet.
Shoaib Mansoor has given us blockbusters like Khuda Ke Liyay and Bol.
