Junoon Celebrating Its Silver Anniversary With Taazi
Taazi, Pakistan’s first legal music app & website, is thrilled to announce the collaboration with the iconic band Junoon. The entire Junoon catalogue with an exciting new album will be released exclusively on Taazi in Pakistan. The signature Junoon sound as captured in golden hits (Jazba Junoon, Azadi, Zamaney Kay Andaz, Khwab, Sayonee, Ghoom Tana, Meri Awaz Suno & countless others) is a cross cultural marriage between South Asian Sufi rhythms , raga-esque melodies & thunderous rock vibrations which recall Led Zeppelin, Santana , U2 to Radiohead.
Junoon’s seven classic albums are being re-launched by Taazi as part of the celebrations of its Silver anniversary. Following the reactivation of the Junoon catalogue & Best of Junoon compilation album, a brand new album, Junoon25 will drop in November.
Founded by guitar player & songwriter, Salman Ahmad, Junoon boasts a diverse & highly eclectic line up of musicians from East & West who come from diverse musical genres & are united by their sheer joy of performing & creating soul stirring music.
