PMR Exclusive: Bayaan – Farda (Audio/Video/Lyrics)
Flawless and tasteful, Bayaan knows all the right notes to play blending harmonies with the effortlessness only good musicians can perfect. Bayaan is fresh raw talent. After performances in heavily publicized and praised ‘#NescafeBasement’, these 5 young boys Asfar Hussain, Haider Abbas, Muqueet Shahzad, Mansoor Lashari and Shahrukh Aslam, went on to make a band of their own.
Naming their ‘Bayaan’, the concept behind making and naming the band was simple… Narrate thoughts and feelings in the simplest of manner.
Literally, the word ‘#Bayaan’ refers to a statement regarding a particular subject. As a band, Bayaan aims to express their perspective of worldly human experiences and how they affect every single individual through their music. As quoted by the band members, ‘we aspire to defy the status-quo of constricting to a specific genre or style by creating music that knows no bounds.’
Asfar writes the lyrics , whereas the boys together as a band come up with the composition with a collaborative effort.
Standing true to the meaning of the bands’ name, Bayaan has come up with a wonderfully narrated single ‘Farda’. ‘Farda’ is about hope, looking at the bigger picture of life and finding light in the darkest of times.
Farda is recorded and mixed by the very much acclaimed Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan (Xulfi), directed by Murtaza Niaz whereas the post production work has all taken place at PMR Studio Works.
