The much-awaited TV serial is adapted from the best-selling Urdu novel ‘Tum Kaun Piya’ by Urdu novelist Maha Malik who is famous for her perceptive retelling of the different phases in women’s lives and the innumerable roles women have to play in society of daughter sister wife and mother and of women’s nurturing natures in keeping families intact.
